Albany, NY- Utility Systems Technologies (UST), a local manufacturer of power quality equipment was recognized for its success in the international marketplace. The company was presented with an Export Achievement Award from Congressman Paul Tonko and U.S. Department of Commerce officials. The award recognizes small and medium-sized businesses for their exceptional export achievement. UST is currently exporting units for sale in several foreign countries, for use by both private industry and governmental entities.

UST is a manufacturer of electronic voltage regulators and sag mitigation devices that are designed to improve and condition power quality for industrial applications and other critical load applications where reliable power quality is essential. The company’s products are marketed in several industries such as automotive, medical, oil & gas, food &beverage, and power generation. Other applications include government facilities, defense applications, and renewable energy applications.
The company just finished manufacture of two of its SagFighter units which will be shipped to Brazil for use by the Ford Motor Company. It also recently received an order for two more SagFighters from the U.S. Department of State for use by embassies in Chad and Tajikistan.
